Weather

Clouds moved into the western portion of the range by noon and skies became mostly cloudy by early afternoon. Looked like there were a few small convective snow showers in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Recent small (D1) loose snow avalanching on East and South aspects. Westerly aspects near and above 11,000ft stayed dry today. There was a good bit of wind loading on a Northeast aspect from recent Southwest winds above treeline. These pillows of snow only produced sloughing in steep terrain. Stability tests produced no results down to the 3/26th interface just below the deeper of the two dust layers on a Northeast aspect at 12,000ft.
