Weather

Temps rose to 15F at 10,000 ft and 10F at 12,000 ft. S-1 snowfall in the morning, with S2 picking up midday. Winds were light from the West, with gusts in the teens and 20’s. Broken to Overcast.

Snowpack

10-14” of low density powder, evenly distributed across terrain with minimal wind affect. Storm fell on a variety of surfaces: MFcr on SW through SE, Sastrugi and windboard on W or E near/above treeline, and near surface facets below treeline on W. Storm snow appears well bonded to MFcr, even in areas with some windloading. No cracking, collapsing, or sluffing observed anywhere with ski cuts. Storm totals at 19” (.68 SWE), with storm board at: 12” H2D: 3” (.1” SWE). HS: 47”
