Sunny and cold

Snowpack

With last storm coming in at almost a 14% density, everything is settling into a nice cohesive slab. A bit brittle with the low temps, but very bomber. Two weeks of above 40F temps have settled out the lower early season pack. Slabs have bonded well here.

Avalanche

No major slides have been evident, and all previous trips onto local slopes have been without any significant slides. There were a couple of granular sluffs before the cycle, but no whoophing or collapsing. Some minor cracking, but very localized.
