Second hand observations: Widespread cracking on every slope, initiated from flat terrain with cracks crossing entire slopes from skier traffic in Anthracites. One ski cut in "Rock Chute" produced a slide that cleaned out the entire storm snow, running on old layers. Another observer reported encountering 4 feet of fresh avalanche debris below the E/NE face of Mt. Owen.
