Avalanche
Observer encountered evidence of four different natural avalanches, depositing four to five feet of debris onto the groomed road. Snowmobile travelers got momentarily stuck in the debris, before two additional natural avalanches released in the same area. By the time they exited the area, two subsequent avalanches also released, making for a grand total of eight. Avalanches were large enough to sweep the snowcat off the road, or bury a snowmobile and traveler (D2).
