Gorge Km 15

Gorge parking lot at 15km was full upon arrival . Yet we had the area to ourselves , skinned up via the tree line avoiding the fsr track. Below cloud base all day , no solar on the weekends snow accumulation observed. Observed surprisingly cohesive snowpack as we approached tree line , did a number of tests and board cuts enroute to bench crest. Run 1 , 2 on mellow terrain avoiding terrain traps . Run 3 ,4 steeper slopes we cut hard upon entry , some dry sluff , no cracks , no slab movement . Cold smoke day .
