We saw natural avalanches in the sub-alpine. Varying in thickness but all about 20m wide and 20 to 60m long on steep S aspects. We also triggered, most of the time intentionally, several small avalanches on S/SE slopes ATL/BTL. Some to ≈50cm deep. All convex rolls were highly reactive, even BTL where ski conditions improved in deeper powder. Calm BTL, strong NE outflow winds in the ALP.
