OVC/X, Temps 28, winds Strong W - lost Scarp Ridge Wx Station Comms at 1600 yesterday, HN 24 = 12" @ 1.4 H20, HST = 13 Summary: Light snow and warm temps gave way to intense snow around 0930 this AM. Snowed all day with periods of strong winds and blowing snow.

Snowpack

Lots of shooting cracks on all slopes.

Avalanche

Notable slides above. Slope angle and previous packing were critical factors on slopes that did or did not avalanche. Slopes 40 and greater were easy to trigger including the remote trigger noted.
