Missed the 6:15am Avy Update to High. Got up to 'alpine' area Pump Pk via Summer Trail. Definitely a 5cm rain crust with powder on top. But off skis, penetrating down at least 1m. No signs of instability or whumfing. Snow feels consolidated and dense.
