Rapid snowfall and multiple sluffs above the climb

Climbed Buddha Direct up Storm Creek today but bailed once we got to the first belay station due to rapidly falling snow and multiple stuffs above us. It was snowing much earlier than forecasted, basically from when we arrived at 6:45am. Initially slow but once we started climbing it was 1.5-2.5cm/hr of snow. At the top of the pitch, a sluff just under size 0.5 came down to our left. We decided then to turn around then as we were preparing the rap a small sluff came down above us on the climb. Looked like some other parties bailed as well due to the snow. Very minimal wind while up there, but it picked up as we descended.
