We did one compression test and two extended column tests. For the CT and the second ECT failure (at 12 and 11 respectively) was on new snow at a depth of ~15cm. The first ECT failed on facets over a rain crust at ~55cm depth (at 24). This layer did not fail in either of the other tests. No propagation observed in either ECT.

Observed a size ~2.5 natural avalanche from a couloir flushing above Darkside lake (see photo).
