Weather

Skies clear, very light winds (north 5mph at ridgetop), temperatures rising quickly from 15F to 25F. Some pluming was observed over higher peaks.

Snowpack

Average depth 90cm, obvious weak snow at base of snowpack with pole probe testing as we traveled.(Probe plummeted to ground as you pushed through last crust). Surface was supportive, with 5cm for ski penertration. Foot pen to ground @ 10 600 ft. Also numerous crusts throughout snowpack. Surface 3-5" of new snow bonding well to 1-5cm mfc formed Jan 7 to 9th.
