Weather

Clear, light winds, cold (~15 ºF). Southwestern aspect slopes above Wolf Creek Pass between 11,600' and 11,400'.

Snowpack

A couple of feet of new low density snow over a degraded base. No sun crust or wind damage. Collapsing heard while descending over lower angle slopes at 11,500' +/-. Occasional 18" collapse of snow in the trees leading to momentary wallowing. Otherwise, ok.
