Weather

Saturday night lows were close to freezing. Cloud cover initially decreased rapidly near sunrise, and then increased rapidly as cumulus clouds built with the mornings heating. Winds were calm at sunrise, but increased from the North. 1" Hn in Breckenridge, 1/4" new above 9,000 ft in the west end of the zone.

Snowpack

North aspects the snow surface is still transitioning to spring. South it is corn. All aspects the main concern seemed to be for the new snow on the dust. There had been a fairly widespread WLN cycle on Saturday. No sign of recent deep slab problems, but evidence was noted of the cycle at the end of April...some large crowns on N aspects.
