Weather

Light snow overnight 11/14 on Engineer Pass. Intermittent graupel and snow throughout the day 11/15, especially above 11,000 feet. Significant wind from the NW near and above treeline. Accumulation of 12 in. or more above 11,000 feet from this storm before wind. Lee slopes near and above treeline hold significantly more snow.

Snowpack

Most of the approach the new snow had fallen on the ground. Near and above treeline wind slabs were beginning to form, though not very cohesive as of 11 am 11/15. Shooting cracks (15ft. +) in an isolated area, East aspect, 12,000 ft., on a heavily wind loaded rollover, slope appeared to be to sheltered from sun, and not steep enough to produce any movement.
