Weather

Clouds below peaks in AM that broke by mid-morning. Gusty NW winds at ridge crests producing plumes off and on during the day. Winds mixed down to valley floors at times. Variable directions.

Snowpack

White. Much whiter than Saturday. Forgot x-ray goggles, but most avalanche problems at/ near surface.

Avalanche

Widespread shallow wind slabs but only 2 slides, though might have been a few more under rocky ridges in distance. Suspect there just wasn't enough snow to move to create large, unstable slabs.
