Snowpack

4-6 in of new snow on top of very hard melt/freeze crust North Hayden and Stammberger Face. NE aspect 12,000 ft.

Avalanche

Triggered small sluffs on steep portions of Stammberger Face. All were point release sluffs started from skier turns and ran with no propagation in new snow or old snow layers. Sluffs accumulated to 1-2 feet deep at bottom of slope. NE aspect 12,000 ft.
