Weather
Flurries and occasional light snow squalls throughout day. Light winds near ridgelines; a few small drifts in previous day's skin track. Lowering clouds through the day.
Snowpack
Sunny aspects had 30-40 cm recent snow since 12/13. Sitting on MF crusts of various thicknesses - stout 5 cm on due south, more fragile in shade of trees and less sunny slopes. Mid-storm denisty change producing planar hand shears ~7 cm above crust; otherwise storm snow seemed well bonded to crust. Snowoack close to ridgelines often consisted of recent snow sitting on cohesionless facets that were moist at base. 1 whumpf in an area like this but no other signs instability.
