Weather

Weather early in the morning was partly cloudy with very light wind in the gorge. Clouds moved in by about 10 am and we could see lenticular clouds forming on some of high peaks.

Avalanche

We witnessed countless point releases on all aspects and elevations, both before and after the sun began to heat things up (although there were noticeably more after the sun came out). We also saw the remnants of a couple small storm slabs (probably a day or two old) on the steeper east facing rocks above Nymph Lake (below treeline). There also appeared to be a crown near the top of dragonstail couloir (along with all the point releases), but I can't provide any more information than that.
