Snow overnight, with sun coming out around 10:00am. Sheltered from wind - stayed below treeline.
Snowpack
At 10900ft, below treeline, widely spaced trees, east aspect: 80cm snow depth. 3" new snow overnight, well bonded to old snow. Homogenous from surface (fist) gradually increasing to pencil at 20cm. 4F facets below 20cm. Rounded grains at snow surface. ECT 28 failed at basal facets. Occasional signs of wind, no slabs encountered.
