Beautiful day. Cold temperatures. No wind.

Snowpack

Snowpack was composed of a thick faceted layer at the ground. On cut banks and other thin areas the snowpack was composed entirely of facets. In some of the bigger meadows where there was deeper snow the snowpack supported the weight of a snowmobile and rider.
