Weather

Breezy conditions and surprisingly cool on the whole tour. Temps at this elevation finally reached their summit of 32F around 2pm. Thin but broad cloud cover developed closer to noon (also keeping things cooler). Clouds decreasing to partly cloudy by 3:30 pm.

Snowpack

Recent cold temps, clear nights and today's combo of winds and daytime clouds kept the pack relatively firm. SE-S aspects saw enough solar for the upper couple of inches to soften for the ski down - esp where there was a little more dust. There is some dust on surfaces but thankfully it's generally faint except in catchment areas(photo illustrates this).

Avalanche

No new avalanche activity seen.
