Light continuous snow.

Snowpack

6" of light new snow on strong layer on top of a weak layer. Broke along bottom weak layer.

Avalanche

2 avalanches broke above skier, one behind to the northeast, one in front to the southeast at nearly the same time. 6-15" deep, NE one about 75 yards across and 30 yards vertically, SE one 50 yards across and 25 yards vertically. Lucky skier was between both of them! (You can see traverse and escape track between avalanches.)
