Weather

Crisp spring morning. Gusty winds when I got to treeline. Warm in the sun. Easy skinning on supportable crust.

Snowpack

Average snowdepth at study area 150cm. Stout (and supportive to boot and ski weight) surface crust. Obvious transition to spring snowpack since last snowpit two weeks ago. Below mfc's snowpack was 0C to ground and moist facets transitioning to melt forms. No ice bodies noted. CT5 results at 4F layer below mfc.
