Weather

25-30. Low in the teens last night. Elevation approx 9000 ft NE and N aspects

Snowpack

Shallow snowpack. Ranges from 6in to 2ft depending on aspect. Recent 18-24in snow fall on Sunday/Monday. Very thin old layer. East aspects fracturing to old snow layer. Numerous "woomfs" on more exposed regions. North steeper aspects had collapse / shift in the snow pack. Fractured to the ground. About 18-24 deep. About a 20-30ft radius above me. Fracture linked shallow trigger points such as a cliff band above, some rocks and trees. Turned around and skied out or skin track. After 4 days and a couple of very cold nights, the shallow snow at the ground is not stable and reactive.

Avalanche

None.
