Weather

In AM, temps were below freezing with moderate to strong wind gusts from the west, no precipitation observed. In afternoon, temps were above freezing with light to moderate winds from the west, no precipitation. Scattered clouds cleared in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Stiff windslab sitting over weak faceted layers near surface of snowpack. Weak faceted layers observed in top, middle, and bottom of snowpack on profiles dug on SE aspects at treeline and NE and S below treeline.
