Weather

Temperature and HN24 taken from Lost Dog SNOTEL. HS at snowpit site near Little Agnes ridgeline. Tour started out warm with few clouds. Temperature decreased after about 1500. Winds were calm below ridgeline, light at ridgetop out of the south. Recent southerly winds verified by rime growth on south side of trees on ridgetop.

Snowpack

Snowpack here was deeper than I expected. Lost Dog SNOTEL showing 57" (145 cm), HS= 210 cm on south faces below Little Agnes ridgeline. Rounding is taking place. Crusts are obvious in the snowpack on southerly aspects but not reactive in snowpit tests on southwest aspect.
