Below treeline slopes struggled to stay frozen, even on colder days. Boot/ski pen to your waist was the name of the game every afternoon except 4/2, and we skier triggered one wet loose to the ground on an E BTL slope in the afternoon on 4/1. Also got several large, wet-slab style collapses on W BTL, one that propagated over 300 ft. Alpine snowpack is variable, with melt forms of varying thickness from NE around to S to W up to 14k ft. These generally stayed locked up on the cooler, partly cloudy days (4/1, 4/2). Yesterday's new snow was 2-4" and saw a lot of small WL activity ATL on southern half of compass shedding the new snow. No other recent natural activity, but lots of older crowns, mostly on NE, NW, and W aspects NTL/ATL from earlier persistent slab cycles. Also several notable large wet slabs on SW ATL from mid (or late?) March.
