Weather
Partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures remained for the afternoon hours near and above treeline. Below 9500' temperatures were in the 50's.
Snowpack
A dusting to 1" of new snow overnight. Cooler temperatures and partly to mostly cloudy skies kept the snowpack mostly frozen and cold with the exception of some SW & SE facing slopes near and below treeline. These aspects were isothermal with wet snow grains throughout. The dry shadier aspects had a supportable and stout melt-freeze crust, with dry snow underneath these crusts. The snowpack on due north aspects near and below treeline remained cold and dry.
