Weather
Frontal passage produced short periods of intense snowfall, moderate westerly winds, and cooling air temps around 1:30 pm. The sun broke through high clouds at times, but it was mostly cloudy throughout the day.
Snowpack
The middle of the snowpack has settled into a more supportable slab, putting an end to "trap door" skiing for now. Sun-exposed slopes had crusts at the surface while surface conditions on shaded slopes were still cold and dry, even below treeline. Widespread depth hoar layers are still dry in most areas.
