Weather
1" HNW. Winds veered to the N mid-morning and snowfall intensity decreased dramatically. Interestingly, lots of downed trees in the North from the strong winds on Tuesday. Didn't notice any downed trees on the windier CDT ascent route.
Snowpack
No signs of instability or slabbing. Ski tests (E and N-NE near TL) were negative SCN>30N,NE,E. Numerous harmless triggered and natural sluffing in the new snow on steep Nerly aspects well below TL. New snow bond to old snow surface seemed good. Persistent cloud cover has kept the old snow surface frozen, but soft.
