Weather

Everything from calm and sunny to very windy with heavy snow.

Snowpack

5-8' deep with a heavy wet layer approximately 3-5' thick on top of facets and depth hoar.

Avalanche

There were visible signs of well over 20 natural avalanches, all on eastern aspects and all at or below treeline. Many were on the east face of point 12739' immediately east of Turner Peak, above Hartenstein Lake. Most were in gladed terrain, mild enough that I have been skiing it regularly in mid-winter conditions for 6+ years.
