Snowpack

8 a.m. Observation. Friday had light snow with gusting wind and only 3½" of daytime snow but wind stopped at sunset and snow picked up with 10" overnight. Total of 13½" new snow and water of 0.88", less dense than earlier in the storm. Snowpack up to 71" deep. Sadly the wind started up again about ½ hour ago and snowfall turned light but seems to be picking up. No visibility for days so there is a debate (internal of course since i see no one) as to if there really is a world out there. I did hear slides running off Gothic Mountain on the way to work just now.
