Relatively warm temps with moderate to intense wind loading at ridgeline. Calm below treeline at 11000'.
Snowpack
Localized cracking while traveling over thin windslab near treeline. West aspects, variable snowcover 20-60cms. North aspects below treeline snowcover 140-220cms. Localized Whumpfing observed near valley floor. South aspect below treeline (11128ft)HS 142cms.80cms of new and decomposing fragments over 1mm facets. Two mfc's at 20cm and 10cm from ground (decomposing) sandwiched between depth hoar 3-4mm. 4F resistance throughout, with the exception of irregular K mfc and 10cm of 1F depth hoar at ground. No results/ hard crumbling collapses in CT tests. Stuck to very low angle terrain, however ski cuts on a few small rolls on south aspect released storm slab cracking within facets @~100cms.
