WEATHER: Mostly cloudy in the morning with occasional hit of strong sun. Moderate to strong winds blowing down valley transporting snow.

AVALANCHE / SNOWPACK OBS: Cornices on ridge tops are growing, and lots of evidence of cross-loading in the east river valley. No recent activity, but plenty or carnage from previous cycle. Judd falls outhouse barely poking out through the debris. No signs of instability on tour.
