Bludbird most of the day, and quite warm. High clouds moved in and west winds started ramping up around 3:00 pm.
Snowpack
Very strong snowpack. Water has penetrated to the ground, and the snowpack was wet top to bottom. The top 5-15 cms was F hard very wet melt forms. The rest of the snowpack was composed of wet rounds which started at 1F+ and quickly went to K hard. Old faceted layers were still visible, but have rounded to where they are no longer identifiable as facets. The only distinguishing factor was the grain size. No results with ECT or CT. The paths along the grade on the north side of the pass are melted out and no longer pose a danger to the road.
