Snowpack

The same faceted layer that is found across the zone on northerly slopes was found in this area. This layer is about 30cms from the surface and will produce moderate to hard test results in propagation tests. Nothing new here.---On east and southeast aspects we found a snowpack that is more winter-like with mostly dry snow except for the surface layers. This is above 11k feet (NTL and ATL). The snowpack was only moist to about 10cms in depth. No wet activity was observed near treeline.--- Below treeline the snowpack looks as if it has been wet before at depth although we didn't identify perc. columns. Northeast aspects below treeline were rollerballing this afternoon and we would expect this to be the same for most aspects below treeline except for maybe due north.
