Weather

Mostly overcast with sunny spells in the afternoon. Warm air temp of -2C with moderate WSW winds keeping things cool. Lots of blowing snow observed above 12,000', but very little moving snow below that.

Snowpack

Soft sustrugi on the surface over a suncrust over facets over a suncrust over facets. Mostly weak snowpack up high, but supportive skiing due to the crusts. NTL and BTL had supportive soft skiing with some wind crusts in more exposed westerly facing slopes. No signs of instability, though I would not have ventured into more wind loaded terrain nearby.
