Snowpack

HS averaged about 80cm with lower amounts below treeline and higher amounts in wind-loaded areas near and above treeline. The lower snowpack is still very weak, but recent storm snow is beginning to settle into a soft slab above it. As the slab becomes more different than the underlying weak layers, avalanches may become easier to trigger. If you find supportable snow to ride on, you should be very susicious of the weak layers under the slab that is supporting you.
