Clear skies. Very light wind. Mild temperatures.

Snowpack

Patchy snow coverage on S and W facing slopes, the snow that is there is combination of crusts and rounds. Pretty continuous coverage on N and E facing slopes near Monarch, with 10-20 cm of mostly fist hard, small facets. A couple patches of hard, wind-blown snow. Coverage is good enough that this thin faceted snowpack seems like it will be a pretty widespread and effective weak layer on N-E aspects once we build a slab on top.
