Weather

Heavy wet snow and gusty winds out of the southwest. Very warm temps for December, raining in the Ark valley.

Snowpack

Lower pack has same structure as past few weeks ~15 cms of facets at the base of the snowpack on all aspects, developing 4F-1F slab in mid pack. New snow was dense, and settling rapidly, around 20 cms at 2 PM. No cracking or collapsing on SE-E-N-W aspects in Crest and Snowstake bowls, near and below treeline. ~20-30ft diameter collapses on E facing bench on the other side of the ski area.
