Weather

Snowing S2 and swirling blowing snow. Skies obscured (as was ten feet in front of you). 8F. Seemed to be breaking as tour ended, although whiteout for the drive down.

Snowpack

Little signs of instability within the storm snow. Traveled below treeline, near treeline conditions were inhospitable. Some localized cracking and sluffs could be coaxed out of windrifted piles. Very small point releases were observed from steep banks. They appeared to be triggered by tree bombs.
