Cool, cloudy and breezy. S1 on LHP, S-1 on Rico. Heavier snowfall at higher elevations

Snowpack

Dramatic decrease in settled HS over the past week+ of above average temps with little to no overnight freeze. This has quickly eroded the snowpack, esp on sunny slopes. Snowpack draining and threat of wet slides has greatly diminished- especially with decreasing temps today. Paths have significantly melted and very little slab remains in most paths. Lots of dry ground and surface roughness showing up. Incoming storm not expected to raise hazard.
