Weather

Broken skies late morning giving way to overcast/ obscured as clouds lowered and squall swept through. Going to broken again mid-afternoon. Light but gusty winds below treeline; gusty moderate southerly winds near-treeline. Snow/ graupel shower early afternoon, w dropping temps, but <1" accumulation.

Snowpack

A few cms of new snow over various refrozen or partially refrozen surfaces, thanks to cloud cover and dropping temps. Not much meltwater production.A nadir. Few signs of instability.

Avalanche

Numerous natural Loose Wet avalanches on steep slopes below rocks, narrow, and looking a day or two old. Flat light and obscured skies limited visibility.
