Weather

Light snow throughout the day (S-1 to S1). Westerly winds were moderately loading lee-easterly slopes near treeline.

Snowpack

The snowpack is generally thin with recent storm snow resting on weak faceted snow at the ground. The recent storm slab is very reactive to skier triggers. Cracking and collapsing was widespread on fresh slopes. Slopes steeper than 30 degrees had the potential to avalanche.
