Snowpack
Snowpack depths are generally around 2-3 feet. Storm slabs and wind slabs are perched atop a variety of weak layers. The most pronounced wind loading is on westerly aspects near treeline. Above treeline, isolated slabs are cross-loaded into depressions. Below treeline, storm slabs have settled enough to support skiers' weight in most areas, but tow surface hoar layers are cause for concern.
