Weather

S-1 Snow throughout tour (8am-4pm). Light to calm winds from the west. Brief breakthroughs of the sun, highly filtered through fog/snow.

Snowpack

Southerly aspects had supportable sun crust a few inches above ground (with facets below), and new snow lacked any sun affect. All other aspects travelled today (E, NE, N, NW, W) had about 12in fluffy new snow above about 12in of facets. Encountered some denser wind transported new snow pillows from L/M west winds (during storm?) along ribs and ridge lines . Also found some pencil hard wind board around north and easterly terrain features.
