Snowpack

The strong winds kept us from wanting to enter the alpine so we stayed below TL. Skied a NW aspect and the snow even in the trees had a slabby feel to it with some localized cracking around our skis on the descent. There were no collapses heard on that aspect though. On the climb out of the drainage we ascended a southerly slope and it had a very shallow, weak structure that produced a large rumbling collapse on the slope we were on. This would not support much weight at all
