Clear sky with a few high clouds rolling in by afternoon. Cool temps in the shade without that big sun

Snowpack

The snow surface had lots of light wind texture and wind press. The surface also stayed cold and dry in the immediate area. The snow pack had a more cohesive 1F slab than most shaded, low elevation slopes near town. Dug a pit at about 10,500 NE mid 30 degree slope, with an HS of 120cm. CTH-SC on the basel facets and an ECTX. Still no collapsing but there were lots of old cracks on the high 30 degree slopes.
