Weather

very windy all day from the west/ northwest. Below freezing above 12000 feet.

Snowpack

There was a slide on low andled terrain (less than 30 degrees) that ripped to the rocks below. The crown was perhaps 1.5 - 2 feet. This was observed on 10/30 on the way to climb alexander's chimney on the east face of Longs. The loft also had a slide that looked like it ripped down to the hard pack from last season.
